Marilyn Zembo Day
Marilyn Zembo Day,
founder and facilitator of the Colonie-based
women’s writing collective WomanWords,
is a published writer, workshop leader, and
former open mic host. She is a Regional Representative
for the International Women’s Writing
Guild, a member of the Board of the Hudson
Valley Writers Guild, a member of the Academy
of American Poets, and an associate member
of the Society of Children’s Book Writers
and Illustrators. She is also on the Board
of Still Point Interfaith Retreat Center.
Marilyn Zembo Day writes,
collages, and randomly creates in Colonie,
NY, a suburb of Albany. She has been published
in Sage Woman; Spiral; Metroland; Lies, Boasts & Feelings;
the newsletter of Tri-County Council Vietnam
Era Veterans; WomanWords; and, most recently,
two of her poems were included in Peer Glass
- an anthology: writings from Hudson Valley
peer groups.
